Subject: HDD trouble
My HDD is dameged. My system is NEC PC9801VX2 with JEF 200MB HDD. MS-DOS version is 3.30B. So I made two partitions on HDD. One is 80Mbyte for System, the other is 120Mbyte for MAPLETOWN data. When I use log cutter LED, I try to stop it by control-C. Then FAT or directry is broken. I have old Norton Disk Docter(Time stamp is 89-12-01). I try it, but it says "ﾃﾞｨﾚｸﾄﾘ ｺｳｿﾞｳ ﾉ ｺｳﾁｸﾁｭｳ ﾆ ｴﾗ-. ｼﾞｮｳﾁｭｳ ﾌﾟﾛｸﾞﾗﾑ ｦ ﾊｽﾞｼﾃ ｻｲﾄﾞ NDD ｦ ｼﾞｯｺｳ ｼﾃ ｸﾀﾞｻｲ" in making directry structure. I made system disk by FORMAT /S and IPL from it. But same message is displaied. If anyone have an idea for this trouble, please follow this article or send mail to me. I read #68 only and ... can't write article anymore. (;_;) MAP814 KINMA p.s.
